Short, because there is not much to tell.

Who. Briard is built by Kostas Chatzikokolakis, an individual based in Greece, who is responsible for the data this site collects. Write to kostas@briard.io for anything below.

What we collect, and when.

• If you join the early-access list: your email address, which page you signed up from, the campaign parameters in the link that brought you here (the utm_ values, if any), the country your connection appears to come from — not your IP address, which we do not store — and the time.
• If you answer the optional follow-up questions: your answers, linked to your signup.
• Nothing else. There is no account, no payment, and no tracking across sites.

Why. To tell you when early access opens, to send an occasional development update, and to understand who is interested and why. That last part may include writing to you personally, once, to ask about something you told us, and possibly inviting you to a short conversation — you can say no to any of it. Signup counts grouped by page and campaign tell us which parts of the pitch land; that reading is done on totals, not on you.

Legal basis. Your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any mail we send, or by writing to the address above; we then delete your record.

Where it lives, and who touches it. The list is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database created with EU data jurisdiction. Mail is sent through Purelymail, our email provider. Page views are counted by Umami, a cookieless analytics service: it records that a page was viewed, without cookies and without anything that identifies you, and it is never linked to your email. Nobody else receives your data. It is not sold, not shared, and not used to build advertising profiles.

Google ads. If you arrived here from a Google ad, Google recorded that click on its side, under its own privacy policy. This site sends nothing back: there is no Google tag on any page, and Google is not told whether you signed up.

Cookies. None — which is why there is no cookie banner.

How long. For as long as the early-access list exists. If we close the list, we delete it rather than keep it. You can be removed earlier, at any time, by asking.

Your rights. You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent — one email does it. If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
